    Description

For sale is a very rare, limited casting of the modernist Willemswerf Building in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
As engraved on its base it was cast for the opening of the building on December 7, 1988.
It is NOT shown in either of the two main references works for souvenir buildings:
    Monumental Miniatures
    or
    Replica Buildings: A Visual History.
    It measures 4" x 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" in height.
What makes it more collectible is the fact that it was featured in the Jackie Chan thriller: "Who Am I" in his famous "building slide" scene, videos of which are easily accessible.
Around its base is engraved: OFFICIELE OPENING 7 DECEMBER 1988 / Willemswerf / Nedlloyd.
    **Note: The building was
owned at the time of its opening by Nedlloyd but has since been acquired by Maersk.
The building is in very good to excellent condition with a few minor scuff marks mainly on the left and right sides of the base - see photos.
Otherwise, it is free of dings or dents or other damage.
The bottom is covered by what I suspect is its original orange felt protective pad.
Shipping includes insurance and signature tracking (to minimize the
    possibility
    of loss to 'porch pirates').
