Vintage HP 9114 HPIL Disc Drive is sold for parts or repair

Description

This vintage HP 9114 HPIL Disk Drive is sold for parts or repair.  The battery pack has just been rebuilt with a new UPG 6V 3.2AH lead Acid battery and the and the disk drive mechanical mechanism was cleaned with Isopropyl alcohol so that it accepts and ejects discs.
When this 9114 Drive was tested with an HP 41CX calculator and an HP82160A HPIL Interface, the TRANSMIT ERR message was displayed by the HP-41.
See the last photo.  I did not see any obvious problem so I am selling this unit for parts or repair.
This HP 9114 is in good mechanical condition for a vintage piece of equipment. The paint is in good condition and almost no  marks that I observed. There are no user decals on this HP 9114.
