    Description

A nice vintage souvenir of Tarragona Spain that is not very common.
The Arc de Berà is a triumphal arch some 20 km north-east of the city of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain, close to Roda de Berà.
It is a Roman triumphal arch decorated with fluted pilasters and crowned by Corinthian capitals. The upper part of the construction is an entablature made up of architrave, frieze and cornice. The stone used is probably from a local quarry.
The monument was built by Lucius Licinius Sura, and it was erected in the reign of Augustus, around 13 BCE.
It is a nice metal monument sitting on a black marble base.
This piece was part of the Pat Smith Collection.
    This model measures 3.5” wide X 2.75” deep X 3.25”tall.
