Due to the long time that has passed since the release of the product, the interior foam rubber has become unusable. I made a decision to re-glue the parolon inside the case.
Photo enlarger UPA-601 - portable with automatic focusing (see figure) - designed for projection printing from black-and-white and color negatives with aspect ratios of 13X17, 18X24 and 24X36 mm, as well as for projection of filmstrips.
Color printing is carried out using correction filters 60X60 mm in size.
Design
The photomagnifier consists of an automation unit with a lens, a negative frame and an illuminator with a condenser. The upper plane of the packing case is used as a screen. A stand holder is mounted on the cover of the case, in which the lower stand is fixed with a screw. The lower post is threaded to the upper post on which the automation unit is attached.
The automation unit provides automatic focusing due to additional movement of the lens when changing the magnification.
The condenser is 2-lens; between the lenses there is a tray for placement of corrective light filters.
The negative frame is removable and has interchangeable inserts for various aspect ratios. A slit device is built into the negative frame, allowing manual focusing.
The projection of the image onto a vertical screen is carried out using a mirror attachment attached to the lens, the projection of filmstrips - when installed in the negative frame of the tape drive.
