Lovely hand painted and gilded comical Obstetrician figurine depicting the Doctor holding up the newborn with a stethoscope ready to listen. Beautiful gold and silver gilt on glasses, stethoscope, and on the classic swirled 4 inch base that displays the Pucci signature
Modeled and signed by Pucci.
Made in the mid 20th Century, by Capodimonte porcelain from Naples, Italy.
Marked to the base with the makers cobalt blue backstamp. numbered on the bottom 65/ 1785
I see no repairs or chips...it is in very good condition, with no other chips, cracks or restoration.
The figure measures approximately 9 1/2 inches (24 .13 cm)in height.
