Separated now from his home, it is now an orphan HV xmfr needing a good home. This unit powered a pair of 866 type rectifiers to support a pair of 4CX250B's providing 2000 plus volts under load. Description

    For Sale:
One vintage Eldico SSB-1000 HF Amplifier's HV transformer.  In service this unit powered two 866A type rectifiers (or solid state equivalent) providing 2000+ V under load.  These fed a pair of 4CX250B's producing 1000 watts of input from just 3 driving watts.  Perfect for many HF amplifier projects.
This transformer was removed from its amplifier so that the amplifier could be shipped safely.  How it became an orphan transformer is a long story and has nothing to do with issues.  Observation as well as pictures suggest some sleeving should be slid over the side leads prior to reinstallation.  The end cover are removable.  Photos of the SB-1000 chasis connections are available but the SB-1000 schematic is clear.
For more information, download the free SB-1000 manual from the BAMA/EDEBRIS site.
