Drake PS7 Power Supply for TR7 Transceiver SN 4462 (modified, for parts)

Description

This power supply isn't going to win any beauty contests. It's been modified with a switch on the front panel, and it's likely been stored in a humid environment at some point as the steel shows surface rust. It's also pretty dirty inside. This one will probably best serve as a parts unit or a
real
fixer upper.
This is part of a large collection we recently acquired, which consisted of mostly Collins and Drake gear. The gentleman had acquired the equipment over the past decade with the hope of one day restoring it and creating a vintage contest station. Health issues got in the way and he realized that this will never happen, so he sold the entire collection to us. We picked the equipment up from a climate-controlled storage where everything was individually boxed and had sitting for years. On top of that, we have no idea when they were last used before he had acquired it. With this in mind, it is truly 100% untested and being sold as-is. We'll guarantee it to not be DOA, but it will certainly need some level of service to bring it back to factory spec. This may include (but limited to): replacement of electrical components (capacitors, resistors, tubes, etc), cleaning of controls, alignment, and so forth. If you're not qualified to do this work yourself, we're happy to provide you with a list of qualified technicians. We can also ship the equipment directly to a technician of your choice, which will save you a few bucks.

Please note that your order may be delivered by FedEx, UPS, or USPS (regardless of which is shown in the shipping quote). If you prefer one carrier over the other, please make that request when paying for the item. We only use new (never recycled) packaging materials and have invested in a 00 InstaPak foam-in-place system for use on larger items. Rest assured, you'll receive your item in excellent condition!
