    Description

    This is by Banthrico of Chicago Illinois.... Vintage Bankers Trust Company' Promotional Pyramid Shaped Collectible Coin Bank. Original key was lost but a new key was made and locking mechanism is now functional.
    Inscribed on front plate "Bankers Trust Company", and on the backside "A Tower of Strength".
    Original Bank built in 1912 on Wall Street in Manhattan and the pyramidal tower top became a recognizable New York Icon.
    This is one of the older very solid Banthricos made in the 1950’s.
    It is damage free and has retained a very nice finish.
    It measures 3.25” square, by 6” tall.
