Antique Doccia porcelain tea cup depicting the Triumph of Flora, Roman Goddess of Flowers. This is the early 19th century Doccia production which was mostly unmarked though occasionally with a painted or incised star, not the later 19th century Italian and German wares with crowned N mark in the manner of 18th century Naples ware. Marked with an incised "R," I do not know what this means. Nice study piece.
Approx. 3" high, 2 3/4" diameter
. Handle missing, as shown, otherwise excellent.
